I understand the print quality is not satisfactory. Let us try these steps:
Update the printer firmware
Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your MAC.
Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
Check the ink levels, Clean the printhead up to 2 times, and print a quality report as shown in this document - Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues
If the issue persists, follow the steps mentioned in this document - 'Incompatible' or 'Defective Cartridge' message
Cyan and Yellow ink cartridges were recalled by HP as it had technical issues. Check if your printer or the ink cartridges are affected by using the above link.
