Your website both doesn't have the product finding function working and "failed to authorize" my last attempt at writing this but I'll tell you the product name and write it all again. Its a deskjet 2755e.
If you think it will have any effect on print quality, I do have the printer plugged into an extension cord, but so was my last printer.
My last HP printer was the best printer I've ever had, amazing with color, it was just a slightly older variant of this one, a 2600 instead of a 2700. But after it broke probably from age, this new one prints in much worse print quality despite being the exact same in design and supposedly updated. Consistency and screen accurate color is very important for me, because I print my art, but the difference is very clear when compared side by side.
My phone camera is not very good, but you can best tell at a glance that the colors are much paler, worse contrast, less warm. Its especially clear in the purple on the gloves and mask, which especially in person, look like a pale lilac instead of a saturated pink-purple. Due to the camera quality its hard to see, but there is also substantially more grain, especially in the purple and any browns/neutrals, and there is also this outerglow to all the black lineart that makes the colors look not quite filled in right-- which to me is the biggest problem. Also impossible to see with that lighting and this camera but the big black border appears to bleed with the colors it touches, causing it to look stained darker with an outline that shouldn't be there. These are both printed on the exact same kind of paper from the exact same pack of paper. I've printed 4 alignment pages, multiple print quality reports. The reports appear to look flawless beside the very faintest, faintest lines in the magenta and possibly(?) the yellow is too pale, but its hard to tell with yellow.
Ultimately, I'm asking if this is something that can at all be improved, or if this looks like the standard printing quality for this printer and I should send this back and close my store until I can afford a better printer elsewhere. And I need you to be certain, because I do not want to keep waiting on replacement printers if its not likely to improve even at peak function.

Is the product number the 2755e I listed in the post? If not, I sent you (possibly 2, i wasn't sure if it sent ) a private message with my serial number, but its hard to tell if it sent properly. It just goes to the inbox page when I send it to your profile.
