Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
1.Check the Cartridge and Drum Installation
Turn off the printer and remove the toner cartridge and drum.
Ensure both are seated properly and securely in place.
Shake the toner cartridge gently to redistribute the toner evenly.
2. Inspect the Drum for Damage or Contamination
Look at the drum for scratches, fingerprints, or debris.
If dirty, gently wipe it with a lint-free cloth and avoid touching the drum surface.
3. Clean the Printer’s Laser Scanner Window
Open the printer and locate the laser scanner window (a small glass strip).
Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean any dust or toner buildup.
4. Run a Cleaning Page
In System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, select the HP LaserJet Pro M203dw.
Choose Options & Supplies > Utility > Open Printer Utility.
Look for a Cleaning Mode option and run it to remove excess toner.
5. Try a Different Toner Cartridge
If possible, test with another toner cartridge to check if the issue persists.
6. Update Firmware and Drivers
Download and install the latest firmware and drivers from the HP Support website.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
