Hp 6978
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,  I have a HP officejet pro 6978 printer.  I have genuine HP ink, and HP premium plus photo paper.  When i try and print a photo it comes out wet and blurry.  If i print a regular document i have no issues (black and white or colour).  How can i  fix this problem?  thanks!

@ThomasBeaudry, Welcome to HP Support Community!

Which application are you trying to print from?

What happens when you make a copy using the photo paper?

Have you been able to print on any other photo paper earlier?

Meanwhile, set the print quality to draft and see if that makes a difference. Refer to the document HP Printers - How to Print Photos (Windows)  for help.

Keep me posted for further assistance.

@TEJ1602 Sorry for the delay.

I tried printing from word, pictures, and adobe.

When i make a oopy of the picture i get the same blurry and wet results.

In the past i was able to print on photo paper,   It was either https://www.amazon.ca/Konica-Minolta-Premium-Glossy-LB92653/dp/B0002UB27S or some kodiak paper.

Thanks for your help!

This looks like a hardware issue.
