I just received my new printer HP Deskjet 2710e and when I scan any document, it shows all pink on my computer screen and also through my mobile. I did not print. I just want to scan and save page but the image is not legible because the pink coulour that appears on the background

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Product. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.


It seems like there might be an issue with the scanner settings or the scanner itself. 

 

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue:

 

  • Check Scanner Settings: Make sure that the scanner settings are configured correctly. Check if any color settings might be causing the scanned images to appear pink. You can usually adjust these settings through the printer/scanner software on your computer or through the printer's control panel.
  • Update Printer Drivers: Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer. Sometimes outdated drivers can cause compatibility issues with scanning. Software and Drivers for HP DeskJet 2710e All-in-One Printer
  • Clean Scanner Glass: Dust or dirt on the scanner glass can sometimes interfere with the scanning process and cause discoloration. Clean the scanner glass thoroughly with a soft, lint-free cloth to ensure that there are no obstructions.
  • Try Different Software: If you're using the default scanning software provided by HP, try using a different scanning software to see if the issue persists. There are many free scanning applications available online that you can try.
  • Reset Printer Settings: Try resetting the printer settings to default and see if that resolves the issue. You can usually find this option in the printer's menu or settings.
