When printing invoices in Quickbooks it cuts off both the left and right sides. Prints everything else fine. I’ve done several alignments and even reset the printer. I’ve never had this problem with any other HP printer. My printer is an HP Envy 6152e. Just brought it to work this morning from Walmart.
HELP!!

Hi @Blondie1964
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
That’s frustrating, especially since everything else prints fine! Here are some steps to troubleshoot the issue with QuickBooks invoice printing:
Check Paper Size & Margins
- Open QuickBooks and go to File > Printer Setup.
- Select Invoices and ensure the paper size is set to Letter (8.5 x 11 inches).
- Adjust margins if necessary—sometimes, QuickBooks defaults to settings that cut off content.
Use Print Preview
- Before printing, click Print Preview to see if the invoice is being cut off.
- If it looks incorrect, try adjusting the invoice template.
Update Printer Drivers
- Go to HP’s support page and download the latest drivers for the HP Envy 6152e.
- Install updates and restart your computer.
Try a Different PDF Viewer
- If printing from a PDF, open the invoice in Adobe Acrobat instead of QuickBooks’ built-in viewer.
- Go to Print > Fit to Page to ensure the full invoice prints.
Reset QuickBooks Print Settings
- Close QuickBooks and navigate to C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QuickBooks XX (XX = your QuickBooks version).
- Find QBPrint.qbp and rename it to QBPrint.old.
- Restart QuickBooks—this resets the print settings.
