Hi, no matter what I try I am unable to get rid of the bottom margin on photos, they all come out with a thicker white border at the bottom. I've just replaced my HP Envy which printed full page with no problems, but I now have a Deskjet 2700e and it doesn't seem to be able to print full page photos.
I've tried to set the margins to zero within the Mac settings and even in the HP Smart app, but nothing seems to be able to get rid of it. See image below:
All the other margins are fine, but just the bottom one. Hopefully someone can help!
Thanks.

Hi,
The printer does not support border-less printing, the bottom and cannot print on the bottom 12.7mms, which are the minimum bottom margins for the printer, you may find its specifications below:

Welcome to the HP Community.
The two printers support different features.
This DeskJet series requires a larger margin along the bottom edge.
Coincidentally, the DeskJet does not support Borderless (Envy likely supported this option).
Example
HP DeskJet 2720e All-in-One Printer
Print Margin Bottom (A4) | 12.7 mm |
Print Margin Left (A4) | 3 mm |
Print Margin Right (A4) | 3 mm |
Print Margin Top (A4) | 3 mm |
Borderless Printing | No |
The best you can do is to use "Shrink to Fit"
and / or
Depending on the software / application you are using, set all margins to no less than the larger bottom margin (1/2 inch).
