HP does not let you cancel subscription to instant ink  online and has failed to repay me £20  I was promised.   After accessing technical support (cost £20)  I was told this would be offset against buying a new HP printer from HP.  My old printer no longer works and I need to purchase a new one. I was advised to cancel my instant ink subscription for my old printer first, then receive a coupon for £20 before buying the new printer from HP.  I have emailed support for help -no answer received!! What to do?

I have followed the instructions about how to cancel however when I get to the 'cancel subscription' button it is greyed out. **bleep**

If anyone out there knows how to cancel instant ink subscription please post your solution here. Thanks. Bob

Hi @bobalobalob,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I'd like to help!

I understand you would like to cancel your instant ink subscription.

Follow the below suggestions -

Cancel your HP Instant Ink service

Use your HP Instant Ink account to cancel your HP Instant Ink service.

Sign in to hpinstantink.com/signin.

Your HP Instant Ink account page opens.

In the Status area of your HP Instant Ink account page, a printer drop-down menu is available when there are multiple printers enrolled. Click the drop-down menu, and then select the printer you want to cancel.

Clicking printer drop-down list

Check the Print History or the HP ePrint address of the printer to confirm you have selected the correct printer.

Click My Account, and then click Account Settings.

Click Cancel my HP Instant Ink Subscription.

You receive an email confirmation of the cancellation. The cancellation finalizes at the end of the current billing cycle when the final charge processes successfully.

Hello HP support agent. Thank you for your helpful reply about to cancel my instant ink subscription. Somehow I managed to cancel my subscription online after all, before I received your helpful reply. Thank you.

BTW all I need now is to ask HP to email me the £20 voucher I was promised and which I paid for technical support to be offset against the purchase of new HP printer, because technical help could not sought out the problem with my printer.  After no-one from HP replied to my emails,  and phone calls, and despite HP promising to sort it out, I went ahead and bought a new HP printer from HP since we need a new printer now. If there is some way of refunding this £20 please let me know. I await your contact. Bob
