Someone has already asked this question and been ignored.  How about answering?  My Photo Envy 7900 ran out of color ink, and I replaced it with the appropriate HP ink.  I have aligned cartridges and cleaned cartridges multiple times, thus wasting ink and paper, and it still will not print cyan.  I had a similar problem with a previous HP Photo Envy series, and bought this one.  Getting sick of this happening all the time.  Have only owned this thing a few months.  Thank God, I was about to buy one for my husband (whose HP printer is having similar problems to my last), but I sure won't be doing it now!  Especially since you're not responding to 11 people who have asked the same question.
