Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

I want to understand why HP printers default to POSTCARD/PICTURE size printing over Letter??? In the print dialog box, it isn't even an obvious option! YOu have to go to advanced settings... to PICK THE PAPER!! Or to at least see the paper size. Especially AIRPRINT from my iPhone. Then I have to clear the print job., find the file again and pick LETTER and reprint. I have missed deadlines and have had innumerable business friends complain about the same thing. You're under a tight deadline. You're finished with the presentation and just need to print it... and then it says "load paper" for postcard size!!!! ***dammit!! Then you have to ****a around with getting it right and selecting LETTER then resending it. At which point you're effed. I had this problem with a Cannon once, which is why I switched back to HP. what GIVES. /rant
