@KAS1221, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding a print issue!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
It sounds like your HP OfficeJet 5212 printer is having trouble printing PDFs saved to OneDrive from your Chromebook. Here are some troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
Check Printer Connection
- Ensure your printer is connected properly to your Chromebook (via Wi-Fi or USB).
- Restart both the printer and Chromebook.
Try Printing Another Document
- Open a different document (not a PDF) and try printing it.
- If the issue is only with PDFs, the problem might be with the file format or OneDrive.
Re-download the PDF
- Open OneDrive on your Chromebook.
- Download the PDF to your device instead of printing directly from OneDrive.
- Open the downloaded PDF and try printing again.
Print from a Different Application
- Try using Google Chrome or Adobe Acrobat to open and print the PDF.
- If you are using Microsoft 365, open the document in Word and then print it.
Check Printer Settings
- Go to Chromebook Settings > Printers.
- Select your HP OfficeJet 5212 and ensure it's set as the default printer.
- Make sure the correct paper size and type are selected.
Let me know if it helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
