Product: HP OfficeJet 8022 All-in-One Printer

I have an out-of-warranty 8022e Printer and I live on a limited fixed income. I need to know if it will work with Generic Ink cartridges. If it will not and there is no way to force it to accept the lower cost ink, I will have to trash it. I can buy a different brand printer that I know will work with refillable (tank) ink. I can no longer justify paying the cost of brand-name ink for this printer.
