I recently updated my OS to Windows 11. I'm using HP authentic cartridges and ink levels are full. The first time I printed it only used black and cyan but no magenta or yellow. I updated the drivers by downloading the HP Smart app and HPEasyStart_17_2_17. Now it prints in black, cyan and magenta but still no yellow. I've run the print quality report, cleaning and aligned the printheads and turned on/off but still it doesn't work.
Please can you help.
Thanks

Just an update as I never had a response to my last post.
After printing countless test pages and cleaning / aligning the printheads multiple times with no success and using almost all my black ink cartridge, I reluctantly bought a new 3 colour cartridge to try that. To my surprise it worked straight away and all colours are now printing. The problem was the old cartridge despite it being a genuine HP cartridge bought recently and installed following the instructions. Sometimes the simplest solution is the best although it did cost another £16!
Regards.

Thanks for the advice but unfortunately it hasn't changed anything.
1. Run the automated ink cartridge cleaning tool - complete - again only printing cyan / black.
Yesterday it was cyan / black then cyan / black / magenta and now cyan / black again. It's confusing why this has changed.
2. Check for ink smears on the back of printouts - complete - there are no ink smears.
3. Check ink cartridges - complete - both black & multi colour ink cartridges are new HP authentic cartridges which have been bought from Amazon in the past week.
4. Check paper, print settings etc. - Complete - all okay and have been used successfully previously.
5. Align the printheads - Complete - all aligned okay but has made no difference.
6. Service the printer - Incomplete - printer is now out of warranty.
Also - diagnose and fix software run and no issues found.
Any further advice?
Thanks.

Hello @RhosdduRed
No, if the above procedures do not resolve the issue, we will have to replace the print head, or you will have to contact a technical assistant to assess the fault mentioned.
Best regards
