Microsoft Windows 11

I have seen multiple conversations about yellow background. I have done all the suggestions, but nothing worked

Many of the comments were then directed to HP support. Was the problem ever solved? My printer is MFP 276

Hi @bproctor1,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with a yellow background on your HP LaserJet Pro 200 Color MFP M276nw printer. I can offer some general troubleshooting steps you can try to address the yellow background problem.

Check Toner Cartridges:

  • Ensure that the toner cartridges are properly seated and securely installed in the printer.
  • Verify that the toner cartridges are not empty or low on toner. If they are, replace them with genuine HP toner cartridges.

Clean the Print Head:

  • Some color printing issues can be resolved by cleaning the print head. Refer to your printer's user manual for instructions on how to do this.

Adjust Print Settings:

  • In your print settings, ensure that you have selected the correct paper type and quality settings for your print job. Using the wrong settings can lead to print quality issues.

Update Firmware and Drivers:

  • Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer on the HP website and install them.
  • Make sure you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer.

Calibration:

  • Some printers have a calibration or color calibration function. Refer to your printer's user manual to see if your model has this feature and follow the calibration process.

Replace Imaging Drum:

  • If your printer uses a separate imaging drum, consider replacing it if it's old or damaged.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

This did not help. I had already tried these suggestions.
