Thanks for your answer.

I tried to let the head begins to move and unplug the power cord.

This way, the heads stopped where i want and could access them.

i cleaned softly le color head with absorbent paper, and little by little the color blue appeared.

I put the head back, i lanch the app, and do the cleaning step, all is ok now.

Hi @Nick92fr,

I understand your HP Smart Tank 519 is not printing blue, and you can’t access the printhead because the carriage doesn’t stop in the middle. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

Power Reset the Printer

Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord for 60 seconds.

Plug it back in and turn it on.

This often resets the carriage movement.

Force Carriage Access

With the printer powered on, open the ink access door.

Wait until the carriage starts moving.

As soon as it begins to move, unplug the power cord — this will stop the carriage in place, allowing you to access the printhead.

Remove and Inspect the Printhead

Press the blue latch to release the printhead.

Carefully remove the color printhead and check for clogs or dried ink.

Wipe the electrical contacts gently with a lint‑free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water.

Reinstall the Printhead

Reinsert the printhead firmly until it clicks.

Close the latch and access door.

Plug the printer back in and power it on.

Run Printhead Cleaning

From the printer control panel or HP Smart app, run a Printhead Cleaning cycle.

This helps restore ink flow if the blue channel was clogged.

Update Firmware

In HP Smart, go to Printer Settings > Advanced > Update Printer Firmware.

Updates often fix carriage and printhead recognition issues.

I hope this helps.
