HP DeskJet 3630 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently purchased the HP Deskjet 3630 and used it beautifully until the black ink ran out.  A friend has same printer and suggested buying Calidad refill combo  919 to fit 63.  He helped me to fill the black cartridge.  It worked on test page and I thought everything was fine, until a couple of days later, I tried to print work off and it only printed half a page correctly and then the bottom half of page was blank.  I retried to print the page, and the whole page was blank.  I took the black cartridge out and there was black in the cartridge exit point, so I tried again.  I again got half a page and then black bottom page.  I left it for a day as I needed time to consider the issue.  My friend had no answer either because it hadn't happened to him.  I am therefore writing to see if you can suggest my next move to fix this issue.  As I said, the printer is new except for having to refill the black cartridge, which seemed ok when first trying ing after refill and doing test page, but not since. Please advise.

Hi @ws_18--,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I'd like to help!

You may refill your cartridges or use remanufactured cartridges, but you may run into problems. HP will not guarantee the functionality of those ink cartridges.

There are many cartridges in the market which is refilled and sometimes the chip is not configured to work with the printer. You need to contact the cartridge manufacturer and find out why its not working. Try a different cartridge supplier and check if that works.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
