blocking non-hp cartridges

hello, since the software update of my jet pro m 281 laser printer on 12/07/2021, it has blocked the use of non-Hp * cartridges. given the number of messages, I am not the only one concerned: when will HP unblock the situation, should we file a complaint for planned obsolescence? thank you

Yes, you can file a complaint against a big global HP that is trying to protect intellectual property, or you can downgrade firmware like everybody else. It's up to you.

This is the equivalent of Ford or GM  requiring you to use only their oil in your car or it won't run. Void the warranty if you want. Charge more for the printer originally. I just don't think it's right to charge so much more for HP cartridges and not allow any other toner. I am a very small user, and  I am  finding it cheaper to toss the printer and buy another during the Christmas sales.

HOW do you downgrade? My printer is out of warranty already. Can you go back to before the upgrade? How? I just want the use of my printer back!

your expert answer is absolutely useless and especially not to find a correct solution:
1 / on my printer model we cannot downgrade the firmware.
2 / What industrial property on ink or toner?
HP is acting like a dishonest company through abuse of dominance and I am still awaiting a formal response from them.
