I Recently purchased another HP Printer (HP4152e). I bought a couple extra cartridges to last until I got my first shipment from HP ink. Now I can't use them and I don't want to waste them as they're not cheap. Any suggestions?

Why can you not use the cartridges?  Do they have an error, or do they not print properly?  Please provided more details of the issue you are seeing.

HP cartridges do have a warranty, see the document here for information. To get warranty coverage you will need to go to the Contact HP page, then enter the information for your printer

I bought a new printer. I bought a black and tri color cartridges just in case I needed them. I replaced my printer on HP ink with my new one. I ended up having having to use the tri color. As soon as I signed into HP ink, I couldn't use my cartridge. Eo code. Received cartridges from HP ink soon after, they worked fine. Now I'm stuck with 2 new cartridges, 1 that I opened but couldn't use.

Are the cartridges HP or third party?  HP cartridges would continue to work after you sign up for Instant Ink.  Since the printer is new [and presumably under warranty] I would suggest you contact HP for warranty replacement of the cartridge as described in my post above.  You can save the cartridges for use later.

I do not know of any takeback program that would buy back cartridges that were purchased and then later decided not needed.
