Welcome to the HP English Community --

The printer's hardware warranty -- expired or not -- and the Instant Ink Subscription are not related in any way.

Regardless, yes - you can certainly cancel the subscription for whatever reason you choose.

Thank you for all the information you gave me. I have to tell you that I stopped receiving inkand when I tried to log in they told me that my device was expired. My printer is about to stop working because I don't have anymore ink and I can't find support since my printer does not have any warranty. I have 2 choices either cancel my plan or throw away my printer and buy a different brand.

Thanks

You are welcome.

Perhaps my first message did not address what you are asking.

There is technical support for Instant Ink and there is a method to cancel the subscription.

Neither of these have anything to do at all with the printer hardware warranty.  Not.

You have the option to contact Instant Ink Support about any Instant Ink related subject.

Should the printer have actual mechanical problems, then sure - this is outside of the subscription issue -- Instant Ink is a service, it is not meant to fix a physically broken printer.

If you wish to get rid of the printer, please do cancel your subscription before you do that.

Why?

It is unkind to donate a printer still tied to an old Instant Ink account.

Not your problem, of course, just a thought...

Thank you again for your reply and the excellent information that you sent. My printer is working fine. I did not receive any ink lately from insta ink and I can not access support since my printer warranty is expired. That is the only reason I am trying to cancel my subscription.
