Photosmart 6510 first time i use it i installed new ink cartridge and tried to set it up but its not letting me set up it stays in a window with error saying “use cartridge that came with printer” but the printer came with a plastic on the cartridge slot, i tried to set it up with that and not working also with new ink and not even letting me pass that first step. was able to connect to hp app and it says printer has no ink but it has brand new cartridges. help pls

I see that you are facing an issue with setting up your printer.

To understand the issue and help you, please share the details listed below:

 

- Error messages or Blinking lights (if any) on the unit. (Please share the image of the error to isolate the issue)

- Did you remove all the packaging from the printer?

- Share the image of the ink cartridge installed on your printer.

- May I know which devices are you using to print eg: Windows PC, Mac, or Smartphone (Android or iPhone)?

 

Note: Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
