Help  Please   I have a H/P  Office Jet 6962  I have had it since 2020.   been a very good printer and has been used plenty .  My problem is I had to replace a black cartridge and it is telling me that it doesn't have the H/P chip and it won't print anything.   Never seen this before and am using the same cartridges as I have always used.   No, not H/P   Can anyone help me with this problem.   I guess H/P doesn't have  people you can talk to.    Thanks

Hi @crazygal

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It sounds like your HP OfficeJet 6962 is encountering an issue with recognizing the new black cartridge because it lacks an HP chip.

I see that you have an issue using non-HP ink cartridges on your printer.

Please refer to the below links for more information related to your issue.

If you are using generic or non-HP ink cartridges and the above links do not help. You will have to contact the generic ink cartridge manufacturer to assist you further with it, or you will have to use genuine HP ink cartridges to resume printing.
