Welcome to the HP Community --
This printer series requires a larger margin along the bottom edge (1/2 inch)
There is no "workaround" -- the limitation is built into the hardware.
Reminder
When / if you change the paper size / paper type in your print job, for example, from plain paper to brochure paper, be sure to change the defaulted paper size / type in the Embedded Web Server (EWS) > Tray and Paper
EWS > HP Document / How-to
Use the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS)
EWS – Browser – Tray and Paper Management
Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
Tab Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper (Management)
Select / Adjust settings for Paper Size / Type
Model Dependent: Advanced section
Click Apply to save changes

Will it work?
Maybe...
If you label paper includes a large enough bottom margin, the label template might print.
Best test on plain paper for alignment of the content.
If that works, try printing on a sheet of label paper.
