I have an HPLaserJet Pro 400. When ordering new toner, I looked on the side of the toner cartridge box and saw CE410x and assumed that my printer needed 410 toner cartridges and that the "x" was for high capacity cartridges.

I bought four of them, at inflated HP prices

It appears that CE410 is a 305 toner cartridge. 410 is not 305.

Why in the world would HP create this confusion?

How are we supposed to know that a CE410 cartridge is actually a 305 cartridge?

Why refer to cartridges as two completely different unrelated numbering formats?

Now I have to try to sell 410A cartridges.

HP 305 is a toner number, while CE410 is a product number for the same toner, 2 different pieces of information that can confuse users.
