I have installed original hp ink cartridge in my printer and have a continuous ink error message on the screen. The ink cartridge is full. I have tried everything recommended by the hp website and even replaced the ink cartridge head. What can i do to erase this error message or is the ink cartridge faulty?

Hi @luci2882,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you have already tried the recommended troubleshooting steps from the HP website and replaced the ink cartridge head without success, there are a few additional steps you can try to resolve the continuous ink error message on your HP OfficeJet Pro 7720 printer:
Restart the Printer: Turn off your printer, disconnect the power cord, and wait for about 30 seconds. Reconnect the power cord and turn the printer back on. Check if the error message persists.
Check for Firmware Updates: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can usually check for firmware updates through the printer's control panel or the HP website. Updated firmware may resolve compatibility issues and improve printer performance. Click Here
Clean the Cartridge Contacts: Turn off the printer and open the ink cartridge access door. Remove the ink cartridges and clean the electrical contacts on both the cartridges and the printer using a lint-free cloth. Be gentle and avoid touching the nozzles.
Reset the Printer: Resetting the printer might help clear error messages. Click Here
Check for Cartridge Authenticity: Ensure that you are using genuine HP ink cartridges. Counterfeit or third-party cartridges may not work correctly and can cause error messages. Verify the authenticity of your cartridges.
If the issue persists after trying these steps, it's possible that there may be a hardware problem with the printer or the ink cartridge itself.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
