@jetfund, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Smearing and Incomplete Printing Issues for the Cyan/Blue Printhead on HP Officejet Pro 6830!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If you are experiencing smearing and incomplete cyan/blue printing on your HP Officejet Pro 6830 e-All-in-One Printer after multiple cleanings, here are the steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
Step One: Check the Alignment Page
- Print an alignment page.
- Ensure that the alignment patterns on the page are sharply printed. If the page is faded or streaked, proceed to Step Two to clean the printheads.
Step Two: Clean the Printheads
- Open the printer's control panel and select the menu options to clean the printheads:
- Press the Home button, navigate to Setup, and select Printer Maintenance.
- Choose Clean Printhead.
Step Three: Print and Evaluate a Print Quality Diagnostic Page
- After cleaning, print a Print Quality Diagnostic page:
- Open the control panel, select Information, and then choose Print Quality Page.
- Examine the page for defects such as white lines through the colored blocks. If defects are present, proceed to Step Four.
Step Four: Calibrate Linefeed
- Open the control panel and select Maintenance.
- Choose Calibrate Linefeed from the Print Quality menu.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the calibration process.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
