@fence1, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

To check the ink levels on your HP DeskJet 2734e All-in-One Printer, follow these steps based on your operating system:

For Windows 8:

  • On the Start screen, right-click an empty area and select "All Apps."
  • Click on the icon with your printer's name.

For Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP:

  • Click on "Start" from the computer desktop.
  • Select "All Programs" and navigate to "HP."
  • Click on "HP Deskjet 2734e series," and then select "Estimated Ink Levels" in the printer software.

Using the Printer Control Panel:

  • From the Home screen on the printer display, select "Ink Levels."
  • The printer will display the current ink levels.

Important Notes:

  • Ink level warnings provide estimates for planning purposes only.
  • Ink levels might not be accurate if you use refilled, remanufactured ink cartridges, or cartridges that have been used in another printer.
  • You do not need to replace the ink cartridges until the print quality becomes unacceptable.

For a more detailed view on how ink levels are used, refer to HP's ink usage information.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
