macOS 12.0 Monterey

I got a new HP 9010. I put the start up cartridges to set up the printer.

I then got a message that I  required new cartridges.  I got a new black cartridge, delayed for a couple months,

then I bought cyan, magenta and yellow cartridges, assuming that the black was full. (still new)

now I get an error message that the printer needs new cartridges to work!!!

do I have to replace all cartridges ????

Hi @Oliver1945,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I'd like to help!

I understand you are receiving low on ink error

No, you do have to replace all the cartridges at the same time. Replace only the ink cartridge that is low.

Could you check the ink levels on the printer?

Many HP printers display ink and toner levels on the control panel.

Look for an Ink drop icon ( or ), a Cartridge icon , an Ink Levels menu, or a Toner Level indicator.

OR

Use the printer software to check ink or toner levels from your Mac computer.

Click the Apple icon , click System Preferences, and then click Printers and Scanners, Print & Fax, or Print & Scan.

Select your printer from the list, click Options & Supplies, and then click the Supplies tab.

Clicking Options & Supplies

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
