Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

The error code 0xc19a0013 on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8620 indicates a problem related to the printhead. This error might be caused by issues such as defective printhead, improper installation of the printhead, or problems with the ink cartridges. Here are steps to resolve this issue:

Step 1: Reset the Printer

  1. Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
  4. Unplug the power cord from the power source.
  5. Wait for 60 seconds.
  6. Plug the power cord back into the power source.
  7. Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  8. Turn on the printer, if it does not turn on automatically.

Step 2: Remove and Reinstall the Printhead

  1. Turn on the printer.
  2. Open the ink cartridge access door.
  3. Wait for the carriage to stop moving before you continue.
  4. Lift the printhead latch and remove the printhead.

Removing the printhead

  1. Place the printhead face-up on a sheet of paper.
  2. Reinsert the printhead securely into the carriage.
  3. Lower the printhead latch.

Inserting the printhead

  1. Close the ink cartridge access door.

Step 3: Check Ink Cartridges

  1. Inspect the ink cartridges for damage and ensure they are correctly installed.
  2. Replace any low or empty ink cartridges with genuine HP cartridges.
