Hi @FTPRyot,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd like to help!
When dealing with refilled ink cartridges in an HP 2752 printer and encountering an "empty cartridge" message, there might be a way to override the system and continue using the cartridge. However, it's important to note that overriding the system might vary based on the printer model and firmware version, and in some cases, it might not be possible due to built-in restrictions.
Here are some general steps you can try:
Check Cartridge Status: Confirm if the cartridge is indeed refilled and still has ink. Sometimes, the printer might display an "empty cartridge" message prematurely.
Reset Cartridge Chip: Some refilled cartridges have a chip that communicates with the printer about ink levels. Resetting or disabling this chip might help. There are specialized tools available for this purpose, but it requires technical knowledge.
Printer Settings or Menu: Check the printer's menu or settings. Some printers have an option to bypass or ignore low ink warnings. Navigate through the printer menu to see if there's an option to continue printing despite low ink or empty cartridge warnings.
Reach out to HP support for guidance. They might have specific procedures or codes that can help bypass the error message for refilled cartridges.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
