HP OfficeJet 7610 Wide Format e-All-in-One Printer

Every time I open the HP OfficeJet  7610 wide-format printer, it automatically fills the screen. How do I set it to automatically open-ended smaller size when opening the app?   it is a nuisance that causes extra steps to be taken to see the rest of my screen. In searching AI for solutions, it leads me down the path of creating this shortcut within my system start up.  is that necessary? Doesn't HP have a more user-friendly app settings?

Windows is supposed to memorize your last settings. This means you should open the program, and then click on the square icon on the upper right which reduces the screen. Click and drag the screen to the size you want and then close the program. Relaunch the program. If that does not work there are some 3rd party apps out there, however having never used one I cannot make any recommendations.

Thanks much anyway.  I have the same problem with all of my HP printer apps. I've spent too much time on this so far; hence, I'm just gonna live with it until someday when I talk to an HP rep.

Thanks for being there as a volunteer.
