Hi @BobW42,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To open the top door of your HP Envy 7155 printer for cartridge replacement, follow these steps:

Power On the Printer: Make sure the printer is turned on to allow the cartridge access area to move into position.

Locate the Door: Look for the top cover or access door, which should be at the front of the printer.

Gentle Lift: Try lifting the cover gently while checking for any obstructions. If it only opens about 2 inches, don’t force it.

Check for Jammed Paper: Ensure there’s no paper jam or debris blocking the door from opening fully.

Press the Release Tab: If your printer has a release tab or button near the door, press it to unlock and lift the cover.

Support It While Opening: Sometimes, supporting the door while pulling it up can help. Hold it from the sides and gently lift.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
