Hi @ReeRee69,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To change the ink cartridge in your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e printer, follow these steps.
Turn on the Printer: Make sure the printer is turned on and ready.
Open the Ink Cartridge Access Door:
- Lift the top cover of the printer. This will raise the cartridge access door and allow you to access the cartridges.
Wait for the Cartridges to Move: The cartridges will slide to the center of the printer. Wait for them to stop moving before proceeding.
Remove the Old Cartridge:
- Press down on the cartridge you want to replace to release it.
- Pull the cartridge out of its slot.
Prepare the New Cartridge:
- Unpack the new ink cartridge. Remove any protective tape or packaging from the cartridge, including the orange tab.
- Be careful not to touch the copper contacts or the nozzle.
Insert the New Cartridge:
- Slide the new cartridge into the correct slot (black or color), ensuring it is aligned properly.
- Push the cartridge up until it clicks into place.
Close the Ink Cartridge Access Door:
- Gently lower the top cover until it clicks shut.
Align the Cartridges (if prompted):
- The printer may prompt you to align the cartridges after installation. Follow the instructions on the printer's display or the HP Smart app to complete the alignment.
Check Ink Levels (optional):
- You can check the ink levels using the printer display or the HP Smart app to ensure everything is working correctly.
Once you complete these steps, your printer should be ready to use with the new cartridges installed.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
