after latest firmware update (V3.82.01.11) my Laser MFP 135w printer is showing "Incompatible Toner Cartridge".

Printer was purchased few days ago, cartridge is original HP 106A. Before firmware update, printer was able to print regularly.

@mrrihani1986, Welcome to HP Support Community!

Follow the steps below-

  1. Make sure the toner cartridge is genuine and compatible with the printer.

  2. Remove the toner cartridge, check for foreign substances on the connector or port, and then reinstall the cartridge.

  3. Turn the printer off and back on.

  4. If the above actions do not resolve the error, replace the toner cartridge.

Refer to the document HP Laser MFP 130/170 Printers - Toner Messages for details.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region for toner replacement.

Hope this helps!
