Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

i have a hp deskjet 3520. I just bought new ink cartridges and I now show a message stating these are OLDER VERSION cartridges. I purchase correct # 564 - how do I know if the ones I buy are old version or new if they are sold with the same number code?

Is there a way to make these work?

@ph954, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Where did you buy the ink cartridges from?

yes, this model printer uses the HP 564 ink cartridges. However, the version of the ink cartridge could be older/outdated.

You may get it replaced from the place where you bought it from or please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
