Hello, I have a printer HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-All-in-One printers

(A7F64A)
after having changed a Cyan cartridge it continues to give a problem of "one or more cartridges are damaged remove and replace with new ones" I state that compatible cartridges are in use, but always recognized, the strange thing is that if I start by inserting the cyan cartridge, is detected, but as they are interacted they continue to be recognized, when they are all inserted in both color and black the cyan gives an error.

the problem also occurs with more than a series of different brands (always not HP original) always giving cyan cartridge error, reading on the internet I saw that it could also be a problem related to a firmware with the Dynamic Security Feature block and it was recommended to update the latest firmware on the official hp website (1910A dated 26/01/2021, but seeing both the update tool and the printer in the system menu I see the currently installed fw is the "FDP1CN2022AR" and the fw 1910A is not possible install it,

thinking about it if it were an incompatible chip problem it should give it on all, instead only with the cyan when all the chains are inserted, you advise me to try with an original series or there is a way maybe a partial reset, the total one not having plus the "setup" cartridges of this printer I'd rather avoid it ... thanks a lot

Hi @alexC7

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd like to help!

You may refill your cartridges or use remanufactured cartridges, but you may run into problems. HP will not guarantee the functionality of those ink cartridges.

There are many cartridges in the market which is refilled and sometimes the chip is not configured to work with the printer. You need to contact the cartridge manufacturer and find out why it is not working. Try a different cartridge supplier and check if that works.

Hope this helps.

Take care and have a nice day!
