Hi @taj2025

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP Smart Tank 7600 is indicating that one or more printheads need cleaning, and replacing them with new ones doesn't solve the problem. Follow these steps to further troubleshoot the issue:

Ensure Proper Printhead Installation:

  • Make sure the printheads are correctly installed in their respective slots. Misalignment can cause error messages.
  • Double-check that you've removed all protective tapes from the new printheads without touching the copper-colored contacts or the ink nozzles. Touching these parts can result in clogs or electrical issues.

Printhead Alignment:

  • If printhead alignment is required, follow the prompts on the printer's control panel to print an Alignment page. This process can help resolve issues if misalignment is the cause.

Printer Reset:

  • Try resetting your printer to clear any error messages. Turn off the printer, unplug it for a few minutes, and then plug it back in and turn it on.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Ensure that your printer's firmware is up-to-date. Check the HP Support website for any firmware updates that may address known issues.

Service the Printer:

  • If the issue persists after following all these steps, it may be necessary to service your printer. Although your warranty has expired, you can contact HP Customer Support for further assistance and discuss potential repair options.

I hope this helps.
