i cancelled the instant ink subscription. Does the cartridges still work, though?

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

 

When you cancel your HP Instant Ink subscription, the ink cartridges provided through the subscription service will no longer work once your current billing cycle ends. HP Instant Ink cartridges are designed to work only while you have an active subscription. After cancellation, these cartridges are remotely disabled, and you will need to purchase and use standard retail ink cartridges for your printer.
