Hi @kennyDC,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
I can imagine how frustrating it must be to deal with printing issues like banding and missing text. Let's work together to get your HP ENVY Photo 7155 back to working as it should.
Try updating the firmware. Click here
If you have performed all the steps from this document and still having issues, either the cartridges are back or the printer itself.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.

Hello Elohi,
ThankYou for your support in these suggestions. I've done all the steps you suggested and it's not resolving my issue of banding and missing text. It also shows a message the the Cartridges are not aligned after doing that step multiple times.
Could this be just "bad cartridges" that are genuine HP in brand, and have sat dormant for about a year in this printer?
The ink levels are 1/2 to 3/4 in the color and black cartridges respectively.
ThankYou so much for your help with this!
Kenny
