Hi @Lydia77,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

To be able to answer you effectively, we need some information.

If you have sold your HP printer and want to transfer your HP Instant Ink subscription to the new owner, you will need to follow these steps to ensure a smooth transition:

Inform the New Owner:

  • Firstly, you should inform the new owner that the printer is enrolled in an HP Instant Ink subscription. Make sure they are aware of the terms and conditions of the subscription.

Cancel Your HP Instant Ink Subscription:

  • Log in to your HP Instant Ink account on the HP Instant Ink website (https://instantink.hpconnected.com/).
  • Go to the "My Account" or "Account" section of your account.
  • Locate the printer that you've sold and wish to remove from your account.
  • Select the printer, and there should be an option to "Remove Printer" or "Cancel Subscription" associated with it.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to cancel the subscription for that printer. You may need to confirm the cancellation.

Contact HP Support (Optional):

  • If you encounter any issues while canceling the subscription, or if the new owner experiences problems enrolling the printer in HP Instant Ink, it may be helpful to contact HP Instant Ink customer support for assistance.

For that to happen, we will give you additional instructions/information via Private Message.

Please check your inbox on the forums page for the private message.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
