hi all,I have the following problem:
I unboxed the new 555 smarttank printer, filled the tanks, did everything as in the manual. By powering up the printer it still displays that the Yellow tank is empty, how do I fix that?

Hello @Surferonline ,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
There are four ink tanks. Each ink tank corresponds to an individual color: cyan, magenta, yellow and, black.
And there are two printheads: a black ink printhead and a color ink printhead.
Did you really fill all the tanks? Please check: First Time Printer Setup
After you have set up the printer, do not open the printhead latch unless instructed to do so.
No Error or blinking light? Download the User Guide
Did you check: HP printer ink levels
Kind Regards
Andr-1611

Thanks for you're help Andr-1611. But that's not the problem. Every tank is full, but the display keeps blinking that (only) the yellow one is empty. It's a fist setup directly after unboxing, I followed the manual, removed the orange plugs the tape and every bit of carton. There is also ink in all the tubes to the print head, (even in the yellow one), but it simply doesn't stop blinking.
I reinstalled the print heads, cleaned the contact carefully, but no succes. Is there a way to reset it to factory settings?? That is the only thing I didn't try yet I think.....

Hi @Surferonline,
first thank you for the detailed feedback.
Then we have to assume that this is a hardware problem and the printer needs to be serviced.
Besides, this is a new printer and has warranty.
Please contact HP support team in your region for help.
Thanks for understanding!
Please give me feedback and remain with kind regards.
