I don't want your instant ink program. I don't like being force into something I did not ask for. I had a HP 1080 Laserjet worked good for years. I could not plug it into my Macbook. I don't like being forced to going to another system. Ink tanks are expensive and a pain. Hp 1080 rarely had to change the toner cartridge. So I am not happy with this new printer and being dollar to death over ink tanks. Sorry state and so expensive. I will not be using this printer.

Instant Ink is optional - not a mandatory requirement.

True - ink is expensive - this InkJet printer series requires at least HP chipped cartridges.

Be it refilled or remanufactured, the cartridge must have the HP chip.

True, too, Laser printers are a "go to" printer model type for several types of printing.

At least some Laser printers still allow a policy change to allow non-HP toner cartridges.

We do not judge.

Consider donating the printer to a church, community center, or school.
