HP Envy 6000
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there,

I am trying to print Avery Labels (3666) on my HP Envy 6000, but the ratio doesn't seem to line up, which makes some of the labels misaligned.

I have tried changing the paper size, the scale on the page, and even the re-alignment optio nvia Avery's website, but to no avail.

The labels lign up correctly horizontally on the page (when looking in portrait), but they do not vertically; they appear to be stretching the ratio so by the bottom of the page they are printed too low.

Could you please help?

@GTurk, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

What type and size of paper are you using to print?

Check if it is compatible with the printer. Refer to product specifications.

Refer to page 18 of the user guide to know how to load media in the printer.

Click here to know how to print labels.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hi Kumar,

I am using A4 Avery 3666-40 labels and I used Avery's software to make sure the labels aligned correctly on the page, but when I went to print the print would slip out of alignment. I have tried changing the sizing from 'fit to page' to 'custom' and '100%' but to no avail.

@GTurk

Have you tried printing other documents to check if it prints fine and to check if it is properly aligned?

To know how to align the printer, refer to step 9 in this document.

Keep me posted.

Hi Kumar,

other documents do seem to print fine and the printer says it is aligned fine, it just seems to be with the labels that the alignment slips.
