Hi@Jacara,
Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!
I see you are experiencing issues with the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP printer not printing glossy on 80lb gloss text paper. I apologize for the Inconvenience.
Heat from the fuser of laser printers can reduce or diminish glossy finishes on various media types. Fusers tend to get hotter during the course of a job, resulting in less and less gloss levels the longer a job goes on.
I have a few recommendations. Check settings available from device Control Panel.
Name: Gloss Mode
Values: Normal (default setting), High
Path:Menu, Configure Device, Print Quality, Optimize, Gloss Mode
Description: This setting is available for when glossy finishes diminish after the first page of a continuous job. Setting the value to High affects all print jobs of any media type. This mode slows print throughput and first page out (FPO).
Or
Name: Best Gloss Mode
Values: Off (default setting), On
Path:Menu, Configure Device, Print Quality, Adjust Paper Types, Paper type you wish to change setting for, Gloss Level
Description: This affects only print jobs that use the media types that have the setting enabled. For example, setting Heavy Gloss 111-130g/m² to “On” does not affect Extra Heavy Gloss 131-175g/m², or any other media type. Print throughput is decreased by as much as one-third and increases consumable wear, however, glossy finish is maintained throughout the job.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
