HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Approximately 18 months ago my girlfriend and I bought 2 brand new HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdw printers from Staples for home use. (NOTE: They are out of warranty).   Her printer is still working perfectly and I am currently having a daunting problem.  (NOTE: She uses her printer every day and I use my print approximately twice a month.)

The issue is, my HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdw just recently started printing very very light and faded on all colors (Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow) across entire pages.  I started to notice this over the last few weeks after swapping my original Toner Cartridges with brand new HP Cartridges from my work HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdw printer (exact same printer).  The cartridges worked fine in my work printer and also in my home printer for about a month and then began printing lightly.

I test printing by using the LCD panel on the front of the printer and printing various configuration reports to ensure it is not the Windows OS printer driver.

I tried Color Calibration, All Cleaning Procedures, Print-Mech Button Tap Codes (21-24) and even a Semi-Full Reset.  Still nothing.

I do see 2 warning in the Event log everytime I perform a Color Cailbrationmbut can't imagine that a mechanical part has gone bad.

54.14.00 - Color plane registration sensor error

54.11.03 - Yellow density range error

My printer’s firmware is CLRWTRXXXN002.2230D.00

The Printer Status page shows everything Healthy and cartridges almost full

I am frustrated beyond belief, as this is a very expensive printer and cartridge replacement and I am hoping it hasn't become a $1000 door stop.

Is there anything else I can try?  HP refuses to assist me unless I give them a few hundred dollars just to diagnose.
