Hi @NeilP67,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

When your HP OfficeJet 8015 prints diagnostic pages with white lines through the color blocks (especially Blue, Yellow, Purple, Green, and Orange), even after running Level 1, 2, and 3 printhead cleaning, it usually points to one of the following:

Possible Causes and Fixes

1. Clogged or Failing Printhead

Even after cleaning, some nozzles may remain blocked:

  • Try waiting a few hours and then running Level 3 cleaning again.
  • Avoid running multiple cleanings back-to-back, as it can waste ink and overheat the printhead.

2. Low or Expired Ink Cartridges

  • Check ink levels in the HP Smart app or printer display.
  • Replace any low or expired cartridges, even if they’re not completely empty.

3. Printhead Alignment

  • After cleaning, always run Printhead Alignment
    • On the printer: Settings > Printer Maintenance > Align Printhead
    • Or via the HP Smart app

4. Use HP App

5. Replace the Printhead (if needed)

If the issue persists after all cleaning and alignment:

  • Your printhead may be permanently clogged or damaged.
  • HP may offer a replacement printhead kit (especially if under warranty).

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
