magenta won't print officejet 8025

 I have an office jet 8025 that was out of colored ink for awhile (several months). I bought new cartridges yesterday, replaced them, and the magenta ink won't print. I checked the vent, cleaned the print head, cleaned the contacts, took it out and put it back in... all the things. It still won't print any magenta ink. Do you all have any ideas that might help me?
