HP does not support or provide downgrade firmware except in extreme cases where a current firmware upgrade has caused printer issues that do not relate to the use of third party cartridges. If this is a third party cartridge issue I suggest that you check the vendor of the cartridges as reputable ones usually have older firmware available.

Sorry, I am unable to help you downgrade the printer firmware.
Suggest using HP original ink cartridges, thank you.
