HP Error.jpgMy printer is unable to print Cyan and Yellow colors. All ink tanks are filled up to the before maximum level line. I have ran the Print Quality Diagnostic report and only Magenta and Black boxes are coming out.

 

According to HP Print and Scan Doctor, "Your printer cartridges has depleted ink levels. This is a likely cause of print defects." but all my ink tanks are recently filled. The tanks are more than half filled when I first experience having this print issue. I bought all 4 inks to fill the tank to make sure but still it seems that it is not recognizing that the ink tanks are completely filled.

 

Please help. Thank you.

I understand the printer is not printing in Cyan and Yellow. Let us try these steps:

 

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your PC.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

 

Run the printhead cleaning utility using the HP Software as shown in this document.

Once done, print a print quality report to check the result.

Hi Kumar0307, 

 

Thank you for your assistance. 

It seems that my printer does not need a firmware update as the status is not applicable (Refer to attached photo). I have also performed the run printhead cleaning utility as advised.

I have also attached a copy of the Print Quality Diagnostic, Print Diagnostic Information and Printer Status Report. 

 

Can you please suggest what can be done next?

 

Once again, all my ink tanks are properly filled. Only Magenta and Black are printing, Cyan and Yellow are not printing.

In this case, I'm afraid this could be a hardware issue. Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service options. 

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
