missing setup cartridge

My daughter accidentally threw out the setup cartridge. I purchased new HP cartridges to use, but how do I bypass the setup cartridge? Thank you

I understand that you want to bypass the setup cartridges. I'd like to help!

We may have to do the reset. 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
