Hi @HouseofTSP,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you've already taken some important troubleshooting steps. If you're still experiencing faded black prints after replacing the toner and printer drum, there are a few more things you can try.
- Check Printer Settings: Make sure the printer settings are configured correctly. Sometimes, printer settings can inadvertently be set to draft mode or low-quality printing, resulting in faded prints.
 - Check Paper Type and Quality: Ensure you're using the correct type and quality of paper for your printer. Low-quality or inappropriate paper can affect print quality.
 - Check Printer Driver: Ensure your printer driver is up-to-date. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause printing issues. You can usually find updated drivers on the HP website.
 - Perform a Calibration: Some printers have a calibration function that can help improve print quality. Check your printer's user manual for instructions on how to perform calibration.
 - Inspect the Fuser Unit: The fuser unit is responsible for melting toner onto the paper. If the fuser unit is damaged or worn out, it can cause faded prints. Check the fuser unit for any signs of damage or wear and consider replacing it if necessary.
 - Perform a Print Quality Test: Most printers have a built-in print quality test or diagnostic page that you can print. This page can help identify any specific areas of the print that are affected. Refer to your printer's user manual for instructions on how to print a test page.

If you've tried all of these steps and are still experiencing faded prints, it's possible that there may be a hardware issue with the printer itself.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

- Check Printer Settings: printer settings are configured correctly already
 - Check Paper Type and Quality: Ensure you're using the correct type and quality of paper for your printer. 80 gsm for laser printer. Even sticker labels are experiencing the same problems.
 - Check Printer Driver: latest driver.
 - Perform a Calibration: 178nw doesn't have this.
 - Inspect the Fuser Unit: The fuser unit is responsible for melting toner onto the paper. If the fuser unit is damaged or worn out, it can cause faded prints. Check the fuser unit for any signs of damage or wear and consider replacing it if necessary. WHERE is this fuser to be found? If you are referring to printer drum, the printer drum has been replaced and the fading was worse.
 - Perform a Print Quality Test: Most printers have a built-in print quality test or diagnostic page that you can print. This printer doesn't has this.
 - I suspect it's the springy connectors at the printer door that is not connecting well, especially to the black toner.
